Happy crafters

We had SO much fun hosting Part II of our crafty little Christmas yesterday...

...with diy craft kits, lots of bits and bobs and a little stall of our own, it was the perfect creative space for our crafters to get making...

...our printing station to make diy festive gift wrap went down a treat...

...us girls discovered that boys can craft too...

...and we even managed a bit of cutting and sticking ourselves, as one of our happy crafters taught us how to make one of these beautiful stars.

Thank you to everyone who came along, it was a pleasure and we can't wait to see you again soon!

Deck the halls...

...with pom poms and popcorn! I've been busily making decorations for our event tomorrow and just had to share the cutest (and easy peasy) pom pom demonstration and my new found love for edible craft! For a splash of colour you could even add some cranberries alongside your popcorn, for the perfect Christmas tree decoration!

If you're coming along tomorrow to Part II of our crafty little Christmas, can't wait to see you there.

Craft + Christmas + tea + cake + mince pies + friends + laughter + making + tunes + merriment = a damn fine afternoon. Why not see for yourself and come along this Sunday? Book here

Craft-tea success

On Sunday we launched 'A crafty little Christmas part 1' which was a huge success. The space was perfect for a cosy, Christmas-y afternoon of tea, cake, chatter and craft. It was great fun sharing our DIY craft kits and crafty supplies, over cups of tea and cake, with old friends and new then checking out what they created!

Our friends at the Millco took some great pictures of the action, check them out here and our geekiest buddy Geek Hearts a Day was snapping away too, take a peek here.

Thank you to everyone who came along and joined us for Part I of our ‘Have yourself a crafty little Christmas’. Roll on next weekend for Part II… (you can still book tickets here)

Make, bake and take

When it comes to organisation, Thelma and I are quite the fan of a list (preferably done on a noisy old typewriter) and with only a few days to go until Part I of our crafty little Christmas, our rhyming checklist ‘Things to make” Things to bake” and “Things to take” has made an appearance!  Very useful for keeping us on the straight and narrow with all of our crafty event planning and it still keeps us thoroughly amused.

P.S I found this old sleeve of typing paper in a drawer – and can’t wait to put it to good use!
